Description:

The 8312 Power Module is designed for use in Tricon systems, with each chassis equipped with two power modules. Each module is capable of running the Tricon system at full load and rated temperature, and they can be replaced online without affecting system operations. The power modules are responsible for converting line power to DC power appropriate for all Tricon modules.

Power module alarms are triggered under the following conditions:

  • A module is missing from the system
  • Hardware configuration conflicts with the control program's logical configuration
  • A module failure occurs
  • Main processor detects a system fault
  • Primary power to the power module fails
  • Low battery or over-temperature warnings
