​Foxboro, now part of Schneider Electric, has a long history in process automation and control, originally pioneering pneumatic control systems before moving into electronic control. Today, their main offering is the EcoStruxure™ Foxboro™ Distributed Control System (DCS), which is used for controlling and monitoring complex industrial processes in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation. Foxboro also provides process instrumentation (e.g., pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flowmeters) and automation software for process configuration, monitoring, and optimization. The brand remains a key player in process control and automation solutions.
