The Yokogawa NFSB100-S50/SBT02 SB Bus Repeat Module is a compact and efficient component designed for Yokogawa’s Field Control Node (FCN) within the STARDOM control system, enhancing serial communication over the SB (System Bus) network. Supporting a high-speed baud rate of 128 Mbps and a maximum transmission distance of 8 meters per line, this module enables duplex configurations and extends connectivity for up to two additional units (three including the control unit). Powered by a 5 V DC ±5% supply with a maximum current dissipation of 500 mA, it features an SB bus T-joint with a built-in terminator, weighs 0.2 kg, and occupies one slot (Slot No. 10 for single, Nos. 9 and 10 for duplexed SB bus), offering a standard design with no explosion protection.
