Thermocouple

A thermocouple is a type of temperature sensor used in industrial automation to measure temperature. It consists of two different metal wires joined at one end, creating a junction. When the junction is heated or cooled, it generates a voltage that is proportional to the temperature difference between the junction and the other ends of the wires. This voltage can be measured and converted into a temperature reading. Thermocouples are widely used due to their durability, fast response time, and ability to measure a wide range of temperatures.
