Installation and Operation Notes

Hazardous Area Compliance:
Refer to Document 12P2046 (DeltaV™ Scalable Process System Zone 2 Installation Instructions) and the Installing Your DeltaV Automation System manual.

Removal/Insertion Guidelines:

Only one card at a time.

Must use KJ1501X1-BC1 Dual DC/DC Power Supply (24 or 12 VDC).

Input wiring inductance must be < 23 µH.

Alternatively, use a certified supply with Ui = 12.6 VDC and Lo < 23 µH (including wire).

Non-sparking field circuits must be de-energized before any operation.

Field power must be removed before connecting or disconnecting the card.
