Driving Momentum Towards 2025 Goals

Schneider Electric reported strong sustainability progress in Q2 2025. The company reached an SSI score of 8.06 out of 10. With six months left in its 2021–2025 program, Schneider Electric accelerates action across ESG goals.

Winning Global Recognition and Delivering Impact

This quarter, TIME and Statista named Schneider Electric the World’s Most Sustainable Company for the second year. Corporate Knights also named the company Europe’s Most Sustainable Corporation. These awards highlight its leadership in sustainability.

Meanwhile, the company surpassed its target of training 1 million people in energy management. This achievement aligns with its Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program, active in over 60 countries. The program equips underserved communities with technical and entrepreneurial skills.

Global Initiatives Creating Change

In Bangladesh, Schneider Electric uses digital twins to train displaced communities in solar repair and e-waste recycling.
In India, Kenya, Vietnam, and Thailand, the Conserve My Planet program engages students in hands-on sustainability projects.
In Brazil, mobile training benches bring renewable energy education to incarcerated youth, helping reduce recidivism.

These initiatives prove that education, technology, and purpose can drive systemic change.

Advancing Environmental and Social Commitments

Since 2018, Schneider Electric helped customers avoid 734 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions. Its top 1,000 suppliers cut operational CO₂ by 48%, nearing the 50% year-end goal. The Zero Carbon Project fuels this progress through local solutions and renewable energy insights.

The Decent Work Program reached 79% coverage, up 39 points year-over-year. This improvement strengthens working conditions, especially in the Middle East and East Asia.

Chief Sustainability Officer Esther Finidori emphasized the company’s mission. She stated that education drives long-term transformation and fuels purpose-driven action. Schneider Electric will accelerate its momentum during the final stretch of its program.
