They upgraded Axtel's chocolate molding and spice processing systems. This collaboration brought greater precision and efficiency. It also boosted safety and sustainability.


Chocolate Molding Line Advances


Axtel developed a fully automated chocolate molding line. They used Rockwell Automation's Kinetix 5700 servo drives. Rockwell’s Integrated Architecture safety solution was also key. This system now handles multiple SKUs. Complex filling and book molding are highly accurate.


Enhanced Spice Processing


For spice mixing, Axtel leveraged Rockwell's ControlLogix processor. The PlantPAx system created a fully automated ingredient system. This upgrade provides enhanced reporting capabilities. It manages multiple ingredients precisely. Data integrity has also significantly improved.


Safety and Efficiency Improvements


Axtel prioritizes operational excellence. They used Rockwell's Integrated Architecture. This includes GuardLink 2.0 and Kinetix 5700 servo drives. These enhancements achieved PLd Safety Performance Level. Axtel machines are now safer and more sustainable.
