Doubling Capacity for Regional Growth
Kinemetrix develops automated assembly systems. They also provide leak tests and scalability technology. The company implements these solutions on production floors. The expansion began in January 2024. Kinemetrix invested in new precision equipment. They hired high-skilled engineers and technicians. This effort aimed to double business capacity. The company now employs 55 people total in Lexington. Revenue has grown over 50% since 2023. This investment sets up further growth next year.
Supporting the Manufacturing Ecosystem
Kinemetrix President Jim Peyton addressed the expansion. He focused on internal team building. They also advanced robotic assembly technology. Peyton said the company needs the "next level of scale." They grow alongside their market-leading customers. Kinemetrix builds capacity to serve acceleration regionally. This manufacturing ecosystem includes Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Kentucky sees huge EV-related projects. Ford's BlueOval SK battery park is a major example. AESC also builds a large battery factory in the state.
Kentucky Leaders Applaud Investment
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear congratulated Kinemetrix. He celebrated the ribbon cutting on October 30. He said advanced manufacturing creates many jobs. The expansion supports the growing EV sector strongly. It also adds skilled opportunities in Lexington. Mayor Linda Gorton and CEO Bob Quick offered praise. Quick noted Kinemetrix enhances operational efficiency. Their work maximizes productivity across the region.
