Honeywell Appoints New Industrial Automation Leader

Honeywell appointed Peter Lau as its new leader. He will be President and CEO. His role starts on October 15, 2025. Lau will report to CEO Vimal Kapur. He will work in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lau takes over from Lucian Boldea. Boldea leaves the company at month's end. We thank Lucian for his work. We wish him well in the future.
A Familiar Face Returns
Peter Lau returns to Honeywell. He previously led Security and Fire businesses. Lau guided a major shift. The business moved from hardware to software. He also expanded international operations. Lau brings a wealth of experience.
A History of Leadership
Lau comes from FARO Technologies. He served as its President and CEO. He led a strategic transition there. He has held other senior roles. His past companies include Hubbell and GE. Lau holds a business degree from Northeastern University.
Honeywell's Future Focus
Vimal Kapur is excited to welcome him back. Pete brings deep industry knowledge. He has a strong track record of growth. This will help drive innovation. It will also create customer value. The Industrial Automation unit is changing. Honeywell is reviewing its PSS and WWS segments. The company will separate into three parts. This separation happens by mid-2026. Industrial Automation is a core focus area.
