Honeywell and Stereolabs Drive Smarter Warehousing
Share

Honeywell announced a new partnership with Stereolabs to launch a mobile dimensioning tool. The solution measures size, volume, and weight of boxes and pallets. It helps operators load trucks faster, cut shipping costs, and speed up deliveries.
Combining Vision and Data Capture
The system merges Stereolabs’ AI-powered stereoscopic cameras with Honeywell’s SwiftDecoder software. Cameras capture accurate product dimensions with speed and precision. SwiftDecoder reads barcodes and extracts key shipment data instantly. Together, the tools give operators real-time visibility into goods.
Transforming Warehouse Operations
David Barker, Honeywell’s President of Productivity Solutions, emphasized the benefits. He said warehouses can now unify dimensions, weights, and expiry data in one platform. This reduces inefficiencies and streamlines supply chain performance.
Moving Beyond Manual Methods
Traditionally, warehouses depend on tape measures, scales, or fixed tunnel scanners. These methods slow down processes and limit flexibility. Honeywell and Stereolabs instead deliver a mobile alternative. Workers can measure, capture, and upload shipment data instantly.
Real-Time Decisions and Traceability
The joint solution integrates Stereolabs’ ZED camera with Honeywell’s OCR and barcode tools. Operators record and transfer all shipment data to central databases. Businesses then gain a consolidated view of goods moving across supply chains. This supports smarter vehicle planning, de-stocking, and full traceability.
A Complete Data Capture Tool
Olivier Braun, Stereolabs’ Chief Product Officer, highlighted the impact. He said the partnership created an all-in-one tool that merges dimensions, barcodes, OCR, and images. The system also connects seamlessly with warehouse management platforms.
