AVEVA Unveils Advanced Industrial Digital Twin Enhancements at Schneider Innovation Summit Copenhagen

Driving Industrial Intelligence Across Edge to Cloud

At the Schneider Innovation Summit in Copenhagen, AVEVA introduced major updates to its digital twin portfolio.
The enhancements connect engineering, operations, and IT data through the CONNECT industrial intelligence platform.
Over 5,000 delegates attended the event, exploring new ways to improve performance, resilience, and sustainability.

“Customers want measurable, scalable digital transformation,” said Caspar Herzberg, CEO of AVEVA.
“Our integrated approach enables real-time visibility, better collaboration, and faster decisions across entire industrial ecosystems.”

Enhancing Data Connectivity and Visualisation

AVEVA upgraded Asset Information Management and the PI Data Infrastructure to merge real-time and historical data seamlessly.
These updates allow industrial teams to visualise engineering and operational data in a single, flexible interface.
Users can now build high-fidelity digital twins that improve asset reliability and accelerate insight generation.

Through Microsoft Azure-powered CONNECT, AVEVA simplifies data transfer to the cloud.
This approach lowers infrastructure costs and enhances analytics precision for industrial digital twin applications.

Empowering Sustainable Operations and Smart Decisions

AVEVA’s enhancements eliminate data silos and unify trusted information across engineering, maintenance, and operations.
The digital twin helps users access P&IDs, drawings, documents, and live sensor data together.
This integration improves asset performance, reduces carbon impact, and supports enterprise-wide transformation.

“Our collaboration with Microsoft continues to evolve,” said Dayan Rodriguez, Corporate VP, Manufacturing, Microsoft.
“By expanding the CONNECT platform, AVEVA unlocks new AI-driven insights for the industrial digital twin.”

Reimagining Industrial Data with AI and Hybrid Connectivity

The upgraded PI Data Infrastructure provides faster data contextualisation and smarter analytics.
It supports hybrid connectivity across on-premise and cloud environments, enabling real-time operational insight.
Teams can now leverage AI-powered dashboards to predict issues and optimise energy-intensive assets.

“AVEVA’s technology unifies asset and operational data in one trusted ecosystem,” said Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer, AVEVA.
“This convergence gives customers actionable insights that improve reliability and sustainability.”

Showcasing Collaboration and Industrial Leadership

The Innovation Summit, held on October 22–23, featured leaders like Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric.
He shared his vision for AI, energy transformation, and agility in fast-changing markets.
The event highlighted how AVEVA and Schneider together drive digitalisation for the global energy transition.
